WRITTEN, VIDEO, AND AUDIO CONTENT ARE WELCOME

Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis. 

Submissions will be considered that align with the mission of DTMR (See “Our Mission” on the DTMR website home page) and meet the following guidelines:

-Writing of various lengths will be considered, but a general range of between 1000 and 3000 words is most common. 

-Submit writing in either a word or google document.

-Submit audio in mp3 format

-Submit video in mp4 format

-Cite sources for any research you include in the format to which you are most accustomed.

-Maximum length for video or audio should be about 20 minutes.

Copyright/Permissions:

-Do not submit work that is currently under review for another publication or site. If your piece has been previously published elsewhere, you must acquire permission for us to post and details of publication so that we can include them.

- Ensure that any students that appear in video or audio in a way that makes them identifiable have given written permission per the policy of your district, school, or organization.

Professional Ethics:

-It is your responsibility to ensure that all content submitted is copyright compliant. Decolonizing the Music Room does not accept liability for breach of copyright on the part of the submitting party.
